Braidwood Cup Series Day 3

No play was possible for the third successive day

No play was possible for the third successive day

For the third consecutive day, play was abandoned between Hong Kong and Scotland, leaving the four-day game all set to end as a draw.

While there was no rain, the outfield was still deemed too wet to play on and it only took the umpires and match officials approximately an hour to call off play for the day.

Both the Hong Kong and Scotland players were not at the ground and the toss has yet to take place as the first day was abandoned due to a wet outfield, while the second was called off as a result of heavy rain.

The forecast is expected to improve tomorrow, but it is unknown whether the pitch conditions will improve enough for play to finally get underway.
