Shaheen Shah Afridi: “He’s playing so well for Pakistan since long now”

Pakistan ODI captain Shaheen Shah Afridi has applauded T20I skipper Salman Ali Agha, saying he has been playing well for such a long time now.
Salman is seen as a key member of the batting line-up across all three formats, regularly chipping in with gritty or match-winning innings.
“He’s playing so well for Pakistan since long now,” Afridi was quoted as saying on Facebook.
Salman was part of Pakistan’s squad for the ongoing three-Test series against England, but only played the 1st Test in Leeds, where he made scores of 21 and 4.
After missing the 2nd Test, he was among seven players Pakistan sent home and replaced with seven others, including five who were uncapped at the Test level.
Currently 2-0 down, Pakistan will be aiming to secure a consolation win in the 3rd Test, which begins on September 9 in Birmingham.
