Rashid Latif: “Sahibzada Farhan should be picked in Test Cricket as well”

Former Pakistan captain Rashid Latif believes opening batsman Sahibzada Farhan should be included in the Test team.
Latif’s backing comes as Farhan has grown into a key member of Pakistan’s T20I side, where he has been the team’s best batsman over the past few months.
The 30-year-old has also featured more frequently in ODIs lately, though he is yet to make his Test debut
Considering that he averages 44.82 in first-class cricket, Latif feels that Farhan could be a useful asset for the men in green in the longest format.
“Sahibzada Farhan should be picked in Test Cricket as well,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Arfa Feroz Zake on X.
Farhan was not selected for Pakistan’s recent two-Test series against the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago, which ended as a 1-1 draw.
He also isn’t in the squad for the three-Test tour of England, which will be held from August 19 to September 13.
