Pakistan pace bowler Mohammad Amir: “Let me tell you my honest opinion. Forget about the rest. I myself am saying that we don’t have talent”

Pakistan left-arm seamer Mohammad Amir has delivered a brutally honest assessment of cricket in the country, saying “we don’t have talent”.
His comments come after a string of disappointing performances by the men in green, particularly during the 2026 T20 World Cup.
Amir also said that when teams travel to Pakistan for a series, they often send weakened sides, which he believes reflects how seriously they view the national team.
“Let me tell you my honest opinion. Forget about the rest. I myself am saying that we don’t have talent,” he said on the Haarna Mana Hai show as quoted by NDTV.
Pakistan just completed their two-Test series against the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago, which ended as a 1-1 draw.
The men in green will now tour England for three Tests from August 19 to September 13.
