Ricky Ponting: “I just love watching Saim Ayub play. He’s got so much talent, a beautiful left-hander who plays shots all around the ground”

Iconic Australia captain Ricky Ponting has admitted that he loves watching Pakistan opener Saim Ayub in action as he has “got so much talent”.
He added that Ayub has the ability to score runs all over the ground, which makes him even more exceptional as a batsman.
The 24-year-old is one of Pakistan’s top white-ball cricketers, especially after transforming himself into an all-rounder with his handy spin bowling.
“I just love watching Saim Ayub play. He’s got so much talent, a beautiful left-hander who plays shots all around the ground,” Ponting was quoted as saying on X.
Ayub is not part of Pakistan’s squad for their ongoing two-Test series against the West Indies.
The men in green are 1-0 down and are currently looking to bounce back in the 2nd Test.
After this, Pakistan will travel to England to play a three-Test series from August 19 to September 13.
