Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha has admitted that he finds it tough to face mystery spinner Usman Tariq.
Tariq has quickly become a household name due to his unorthodox bowling action and ability to take wickets consistently.
To date, the 28-year-old has claimed 18 wickets in nine T20Is at an average of 11.16 and an economy rate of 6.66.
Most recently, he was in action for Warwickshire in the 2026 Vitality Blast in England and picked up 16 wickets in 11 matches at an average of 16 and an economy rate of 6.09.
“Trust me, it’s tough. He is a tough bowler to face. Whenever I have played him in domestic, I find it very hard because he’s someone who’s very, very tough to pick, and then when he has a pause, it becomes very, very difficult,” Salman was quoted as saying by A Sports.
Pakistan will now tour the West Indies for two Tests, with both matches taking place in Trinidad and Tobago from July 25 to August 6.
Following this, they will travel to England to play three Tests from August 19 to September 13.
