Mohammad Amir on Abhishek Sharma: “I would bowl slower balls to him. Take the pace off and make him generate his own power. With a proper plan, you can get him out early”

Pakistan left-arm fast bowler Mohammad Amir said he would utilise slower balls to get India opening batsman Abhishek Sharma out.
Amir explained that taking pace off the ball would force Abhishek to “generate his own power”, increasing the chances of a dismissal.
Known for his explosive hitting, Abhishek has also shown vulnerability early in his innings, a trend evident during India’s T20I series against Ireland and their ongoing white-ball tour of England.
“I would bowl slower balls to him. Take the pace off and make him generate his own power. With a proper plan, you can get him out early,” Amir was quoted as saying by Khel Shel.
The Pakistan team are now getting ready for a two-Test series against the West Indies, with both matches being played in Trinidad and Tobago from July 25 to August 6.
They will then tour England for three Tests from August 19 to September 13.
