Shadab Khan: “Sahibzada Farhan is in good form”

Pakistan spin-bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan has been impressed with opening batsman Sahibzada Farhan’s form as of late.
Farhan has cemented his place in Pakistan’s T20I team and was the highest run-scorer in the 2026 T20 World Cup, where he amassed 383 runs in seven matches, which included two centuries and two fifties, at an average of 76.60 and a strike-rate of 160.25.
He continued to dominate in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL), accumulating 380 runs in 10 games for the Multan Sultans, which included a hundred and two half-centuries, at an average of 42.22 and a strike-rate of 166.66.
Following PSL 11, Farhan featured in Pakistan’s three-match ODI series against Australia, but failed to maintain his momentum as he was restricted to 37 runs at an average of 12.33.
“Sahibzada Farhan is in good form,” Shadab was quoted as saying by A Sports.
Pakistan’s next assignment is a tour of the West Indies, which comprises two Tests in Trinidad and Tobago from July 25 to August 6.
They will then travel to England to play three Tests from August 19 to September 13.
Since Farhan has yet to make his Test debut, he was not included in the team for both series.
