Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan: “I have not been given an opportunity in the PSL. Past 11 years in row. As a professional cricketer, that is naturally disappointing”

Pakistan spinner Sajid Khan has expressed disappointment at not being given an opportunity to play in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for 11 consecutive years.
Sajid has impressed in Test cricket for Pakistan, claiming 69 wickets in 15 matches, including four five-wicket hauls, at an average of 30.46.
In domestic T20 cricket, he has taken 10 wickets in 15 matches at an average of 35.10 and an economy rate of 7.63.
Despite limited experience in the shortest format, the 32-year-old feels it is unfair that he has yet to receive a single opportunity to showcase his abilities in the PSL.
“For 11 years, I have consistently delivered strong performances in domestic cricket and continue to perform at the highest level for both my region and department. Yet, I have not been given an opportunity in the PSL. Past 11 years in row. As a professional cricketer, that is naturally disappointing,” Sajid said on X.
“Still, my focus remains on performance. I will continue to work hard and leave the rest to those entrusted with the decisions.”
Pakistan will now play two Tests against the West Indies, which will take place in Trinidad and Tobago from July 25 to August 6.
After that, they will face England in a three-Test series, which will be held between August 19 and September 13.
