Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf: “The Melbourne Stars management told me that all the batters in the world are scared of you”

Pakistan seamer Haris Rauf has revealed that the Melbourne Stars management told him that “all the batters in the world are scared of you”.
Rauf, one of Pakistan’s fastest bowlers, has previously breached the 150 kph mark and is widely recognised for his wicket-taking ability, which he has continued to showcase in recent performances.
During the latest edition of the Big Bash League (BBL), Rauf was the highest wicket-taker in the tournament, claiming 20 wickets in 11 matches for the Stars at an average of 16.75 and an economy rate of 8.23.
“The Melbourne Stars management told me that all the batters in the world are scared of you,” he was quoted as saying by journalist Arfa Feroz Zake on X.
Rauf recently played in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and snapped up 12 wickets in nine matches for the Lahore Qalandars at an average of 24.08 and an economy rate of 9.79.
The 32-year-old did not feature in Pakistan’s two-Test series against Bangladesh, which they lost 2-0.
However, he is currently in action in the three-match ODI series against Australia and has claimed three wickets in two games at an average of 24.33.
The series is tied at 1-1 heading into the 3rd ODI on June 4 in Lahore.
