Former Australia cricketer Aaron Finch has revealed that big-hitter Jake Fraser-McGurk has learned a lot from Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan.

Finch’s comments come after Fraser-McGurk and Rizwan played alongside each other for the Melbourne Renegades in the recent edition of the Big Bash League (BBL).

In BBL 15, Fraser-McGurk made 163 runs in 10 matches at an average of 16.30, while Rizwan scored 187 runs in 10 games at an average of 18.70.

“I was talking to Jake Fraser-McGurk… but he was talking about what he’s learned off Rizwan already,” Finch was quoted as saying by Geo Super.

Rizwan was recently in action for Pakistan during their three-match ODI series against Bangladesh and accumulated 58 runs at an average of 19.33.

He is now captaining Rawalpindiz in the 2026 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and has struck 83 runs in four matches at an average of 20.75 and a strike-rate of 125.75.
