Pakistan speedster Ihsanullah has claimed that India batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi appears “a little bit weak” against fast bowlers.

He even invited the young Indian opener to contact him on WhatsApp so he can help him “correct his mistakes”.

At just 14 years old, Sooryavanshi has taken the cricket world by storm with a series of jaw-dropping performances, including a blistering century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and a stunning 175 in the final of the ICC Under-19 World Cup.

“India’s Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is a good batter but he is a little bit weak in playing fast bowlers. If he contacts me on WhatsApp, I will correct his mistakes,” Ihsanullah was quoted as saying on Facebook.

The Pakistan team are now involved in the 2026 T20 World Cup, but Ihsanullah was not picked as he hasn’t played international cricket since April 2023.

The men in green made it to the Super Eights after winning their group stage games against the Netherlands, United States of America and Namibia. Their only loss came against India.

Pakistan’s first Super Eights match against New Zealand was washed out and they will now look to pick up some much-needed points when they face England on February 24 in Pallekele.
