Former India spinner Harbhajan Singh believes Pakistan batsman Babar Azam “should learn from” Virat Kohli to regain his batting dominance.

Kohli has been a cornerstone of India’s success across all formats for over a decade, consistently delivering match-winning knocks under pressure.

Both players are often seen as the biggest threats by opposition teams due to their potential to win games single-handedly.

However, with Azam enduring a turbulent year of inconsistent form, Harbhajan suggested the 31-year-old from Lahore could benefit from picking up some pointers from Kohli.

“Babar and many others should learn from King Kohli,” he said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Azam is taking part in the 2026 T20 World Cup right now and has scored 66 runs in three matches at an average of 22 and a strike-rate of 115.78.

The men in green began by beating the Netherlands and United States of America before suffering a 61-run loss to India.

Pakistan will look to bounce back when they take on Namibia on February 18 in Colombo.
