Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood admitted he is very impressed with the exceptional “consistency and control” spinner Noman Ali displays when bowling.
His comments come after Noman had a fantastic campaign in the recent two-Test series against South Africa.
The 39-year-old took 14 wickets against the Proteas, which included a five-wicket haul, at an average of 23.07.
“Noman’s consistency and control were exceptional,” Masood was quoted as saying by Samaa TV.
After the two Tests, Pakistan and South Africa played three T20Is and three ODIs, with the men in green winning both 2-1.
Pakistan then whitewashed Sri Lanka 3-0 in a three-match ODI series.
The men in green are presently competing in a T20I tri-series with Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe, and have progressed to the final, where they will meet Sri Lanka on November 29.
