Zaman has a reputation of being able to catch fire at any time and deliver match-winning knocks.

He was recently involved in Pakistan’s home series against South Africa and scored 45 runs in three ODIs at an average of 15.

The 35-year-old performed a lot better in the three ODIs against Sri Lanka, accumulating 165 runs, which included two fifties, at an average of 55.

Zaman has kept up his form in the ongoing T20I tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe as he has made 72 runs in four games at an average of 36 and a strike-rate of 160.
