Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed said everyone knows big-hitting top order batsman Fakhar Zaman is a “match-winner.”
Zaman has delivered a number of memorable knocks for the men in green and is still part of their ODI and T20I squads today.
Recently, the 35-year-old was in action during Pakistan’s home series against South Africa, where he scored 45 runs in three ODIs at an average of 15.
The Mardan native enjoyed a lot more success in the three ODIs against Sri Lanka, accumulating 165 runs, which included two fifties, at an average of 55.
“Everyone knows Fakhar Bhai is a match-winner. Whenever he plays, Pakistan wins matches. He’s a T20 specialist,” Abrar was quoted as saying on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Next up for Pakistan will be a T20I tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe that will take place between November 18 and 29.
