Pakistan mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed revealed he asked Afghanistan superstar Rashid Khan how to bowl a quick googly.

Abrar has become Pakistan’s first-choice spinner, especially in ODIs and T20Is, where he has been a dominant force.

Having got the advice he needed from Rashid, the 27-year-old is working on it and plans to include it as another variation in his already stacked arsenal.

“I asked Rashid Khan how to bowl a quick googly with good line and length. I am working on it from a while, you will see me bowling the faster googly. When you sit on [the] bench and [don’t] get [a] chance, your hunger gets increased,” Abrar was quoted as saying by journalist Ahmad Haseeb on X, formerly known as Twitter.
