Pakistan speedster Mir Hamza: “You’re asking the wrong guy”

Pakistan left-arm fast bowler Mir Hamza doesn’t know why he isn’t being given a chance to play international cricket, telling a fan “you’re asking the wrong guy.”
Hamza’s answer suggests that people should be questioning the team management or national selectors as they are in charge of who gets into the squad.
So far, the 33-year-old has featured in seven Tests and taken 14 wickets at an average of 45.14.
His last match for Pakistan came in January 2025.
“You’re asking the wrong guy,” Hamza was quoted as saying by TOK Sports on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The men in green recently took on South Africa on home soil and began by drawing the two-Test series 1-1 before triumphing 2-1 in both the T20Is and ODIs.
Pakistan are now facing Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series, where they currently hold a 2-0 lead.
After that, they will take part in a T20I tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe from November 18 to 29.
