Pakistan opening batsman Imam-ul-Haq said he doesn’t need to work on his discipline since it has never been a problem.

He noted no one has ever spoken to him about having a bad attitude.

Instead, the 29-year-old has been focusing his attention on his batting in general as he constantly wants to get better.

“I have worked a lot on my batting and shot development but honestly I have not worked on improving discipline like you asked because I have never had such a problem nor has anyone spoken to me about any attitude issues with me,” Imam was quoted as saying by NDTV.

Imam recently played in Pakistan’s two-Test series against South Africa and struck 119 runs, which included a top score of 93, at an average of 29.75.

After the Tests, the men in green defeated the Proteas 2-1 in both the T20Is and ODIs.

Pakistan are now involved in a three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka and find themselves 1-0 up at the moment.
