
Aiden Markram: “He needs no introduction. Babar’s wicket will be a big one for us, and one of the bowlers will try to get him”

South Africa opener Aiden Makram said Pakistan batsman Babar Azam “needs to introduction” as he will always be the big wicket for any team.
Markram and Azam recently went head to head during Pakistan’s home series against South Africa.
In the two-Test series, Azam scored 131 runs, which included a top score of 50, at an average of 32.75.
The 31-year-old then proceeded to make 79 runs in three T20Is, which included a top score of 68, at an average of 39.50 and a strike-rate of 117.91.
After that, he took part in the three-match ODI series and amassed 45 runs at an average of 15.
“He needs no introduction. Babar’s wicket will be a big one for us, and one of the bowlers will try to get him,” Markram was quoted as saying by A Sports.
Azam is already back in action as he is playing in Pakistan’s three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka.
In the 1st ODI, he scored 29 runs as the men in green triumphed by six runs.
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a T20I tri-series against Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe from November 18 to 29.
