Sikandar Raza: “Among the bowlers, Ubaid Shah and Ali Raza have impressed me”

Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza admitted to being very impressed with young Pakistan fast bowlers Ali Raza and Ubaid Shah while playing for the Lahore Qalandars in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Ali, who is just 17 years old, represented the Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 10 and took 12 wickets in nine games at an average of 25.25 and an economy rate of 9.18.
As for 19-year-old Ubaid, who was part of the Multan Sultans team, he also claimed 12 wickets in nine matches, but at an average of 26.75 and an economy rate of 10.29.
With both youngsters having shown great promise during PSL 10, Raza feels they have a bright future ahead of them.
“Among the bowlers, Ubaid Shah and Ali Raza have impressed me,” he told Geo News.
Pakistan are now taking on South Africa and began by drawing the two-Test series 1-1.
Both sides then played three T20Is, which the men in green won 2-1.
As for the ongoing three-match ODI series, Pakistan hold a 1-0 lead.
Afterwards, Pakistan will go up against Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series from November 11 to 15, and then participate in a T20I tri-series involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe from November 17 to 29.
