Kris Srikkanth: “You’ll go nowhere with Mike Hesson as your coach”

Former India batsman Kris Srikkanth doesn’t think Mike Hesson is the right man to be coaching Pakistan, saying the men in green will “go nowhere” with him in charge in white-ball cricket.
Pakistan recently featured in the 2025 Asia Cup, where they fought their way into the final before losing to India by five wickets.
Given the team’s turbulent performances in ODIs and T20Is, even prior to the Asia Cup, Srikkanth feels that a change in head coach is needed.
“You’ll go nowhere with Mike Hesson as your coach,” he said on his YouTube channel as quoted by NDTV.
Currently, Pakistan are taking on South Africa and began by drawing the two-Test series 1-1.
The men in green and the Proteas will now go up against each other in a three-match T20I series from from October 28 to November 1.
Afterwards, Pakistan and South Africa will play three ODIs from November 4 to 8.
Following this, Pakistan will face Sri Lanka in a three-match ODI series from November 11 to 15, and then participate in a T20I tri-series featuring Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe between November 17 and 29.
