Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha said he used to get trolled a lot, but it no longer bothers him.
Salman has established himself as a key player in the national team across all three formats, consistently contributing valuable runs as a middle-order batsman.
He recently played in the T20I tri-series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Afghanistan in Sharjah, and scored 109 runs in five games, which included a top score of 53 not out, at an average of 27.25 and a strike-rate of 118.47.
Unfortunately for Salman, he didn’t have as much success in the 2025 Asia Cup as he was limited to 72 runs in seven games at an average of 12 and a strike-rate of 80.89.
Despite facing regular criticism – whether over his own performance or the team’s – Salman reiterated that he remains unfazed.
“I got trolled a lot, but it doesn’t affect me anymore now,” the 31-year-old from Lahore was quoted as saying by Khel Shel on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pakistan managed to make it to the Asia Cup final, but fell short in their bid to lift the trophy as India beat them by five wickets.
The men in green will now host South Africa for two Tests, three T20Is, and three ODIs, which will take place from October 12 to November 8.
