Salman Ali Agha: “Hasan Nawaz is batting at another level”

Pakistan T20I captain Salman Ali Agha has praised big-hitter Hasan Nawaz, saying he is “batting at another level” right now.
Nawaz has become the new superstar of Pakistan cricket as he has impressed everyone with his power-hitting skills.
The 23-year-old really shot to fame during the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he finished as the third-highest run-scorer with 399 runs in 12 matches for the Quetta Gladiators, which included a century and three fifties, at an average of 57 and a strike-rate of 162.19.
After PSL 10 ended, Hasan continued to shine as he struck 121 runs in three T20Is against Bangladesh at an average of 60.50 and a strike-rate of 198.36.
As for Pakistan’s tour of Bangladesh, which comprised three T20Is, Nawaz made 33 runs at an average of 11 and a strike-rate of 122.22.
Pakistan then toured the West Indies and Nawaz started his campaign with 79 runs in three T20Is at an average of 26.33 and a strike-rate of 164.58.
He then proceeded to make his ODI debut and ended up with 112 runs in three matches, which included a career-best knock of 63 not out, at an average of 112.
Following their trip to the West Indies, Pakistan went up against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Afghanistan in a T20I tri-series in Sharjah, which they won.
In the five matches he played, Nawaz finished with 93 runs, which included a top score of 56, at an average of 18.60 and a strike-rate of 143.07.
“Hasan Nawaz is batting at another level,” Salman was quoted as saying by A Sports.
Pakistan are now taking part in the 2025 Asia Cup, which is being held in the UAE.
