Pakistan left-arm spinner Imad Wasim believes T20I captain Salman Ali Agha will “change the course of Pakistan cricket”.
Imad has been impressed with what he has seen from the 31-year-old so far, but has backed him to achieve even greater things in the future.
Having played alongside him for Islamabad United in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), Imad knows the kind of talent Salman possesses and the value he brings to any team.
“I think he’ll change the course of Pakistan cricket,” he told PakPassion.

Following this, the Lahore native captained Pakistan in their three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and struck 90 runs, which included a career-best knock of 56, at an average of 45 and a strike-rate of 155.17.
Bowling-wise, he snapped up one wicket at an average of 43 and an economy rate of 10.75.
Pakistan then toured Bangladesh for three T20Is, but Salman failed to have the same kind of impact with the bat, finishing with 24 runs at an average of 12 and a strike-rate of 58.53.
Additionally, he took one wicket at an average of 12 and an economy rate of six.
After facing Bangladesh twice, Pakistan headed to the West Indies to play three T20Is and three ODIs.
