Pakistan speedster Haris Rauf has expressed his desire to win “at least two ICC events in the next 10 years”.

The men in green have won a couple of ICC tournaments in the past, including the 1992 World Cup, the 2009 T20 World Cup, and the 2017 Champions Trophy.

With the 2026 T20 World Cup set to take place in India and Sri Lanka from February to March, Rauf will no doubt be looking to help Pakistan lift the trophy as it would go a long way in accomplishing his goal to win two competitions within the next decade.

“I want to win at least two ICC events in the next 10 years,” he was quoted as saying by A Sports.

Rauf recently represented the Lahore Qalandars in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and was the joint second-highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets in 13 matches at an average of 25.50 and an economy rate of 10.28.

He then played in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh in Lahore and picked up one wicket in two games at an average of 59 and an economy rate of 11.80.

The 31-year-old did not take part in the T20I tour of Bangladesh, but returned for the limited overs tour of the West Indies, where he only featured in the T20I series.

In the two matches he played the Rawalpindi native claimed one wicket at an average of 75 and an economy rate of 9.37.

Pakistan’s next assignment will be a T20I tri-series against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Afghanistan in Sharjah, which will take place from August 29 to September 7.

Afterwards, the men in green will participate in the 2025 Asia Cup, which will be held in the UAE from September 9 to 28.
