Kamran Akmal: “Naseem faced a tough time, and his yorkers were missing”

Former Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Kamran Akmal has questioned why pace bowler Naseem Shah hasn’t been unleashing his deadly yorkers lately.
Naseem has experienced a slight dip in form, but is still expected to play a key role for the men in green in international cricket.
The 22-year-old was recently involved in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and took nine wickets in 10 matches for Islamabad United at an average of 40.33 and an economy rate of 9.30.
“Naseem faced a tough time, and his yorkers were missing,” Akmal was quoted as saying by ARY News.
Following PSL 10, Naseem didn’t play in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, which the men in green won 3-0.
He also didn’t feature in Pakistan’s tour of Bangladesh, where the men in green lost the T20I series 2-1.
Pakistan just concluded a tour of the West Indies, where they played three T20Is and three ODIs.
Naseem was only selected for the ODI series and ended up taking five wickets in two matches at an average of 25.40.
