Glen Chapple: “Naseem Shah was there swinging it both ways and bowling fast”

Peshawar Zalmi bowling coach Glen Chapple said Pakistan pace bowler Naseem Shah was swinging the ball both ways and bowling fast during the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Naseem has been one of Pakistan’s go-to speedsters in all three formats, but is trying to regain some form at the moment.
During PSL 10, the 22-year-old picked up nine wickets in 10 matches for Islamabad United at an average of 40.33 and an economy rate of 9.30.
“Naseem Shah was there swinging it both ways and bowling fast,” Chapple told PakPassion.
Following the conclusion of the PSL, Pakistan took on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series in Lahore, but Naseem did not feature in it.
He also missed out on the tour of Bangladesh, where the men in green lost the T20I series 2-1.
Pakistan just finished touring the West Indies, but Naseem once again didn’t play in the three-match T20I series, which the men in green won 2-1.
However, he returned for the ODI series and claimed five wickets in two games at an average of 25.40.
Pakistan lost the ODI series 2-1.
