Pakistan batsman Mohammad Haris said he wants a spot in the Test team, but knows he will have to work hard for it.
Haris intends to play more red-ball cricket domestically in order to convince the selectors to give him a chance in Tests.
The 24-year-old has yet to make his Test debut, but averages 25.15 in first-class cricket right now.
With a lot of work to do in order to fulfil his dream of playing Test cricket, Haris is ready to put in the hard yards.
“I’ve played red-ball cricket in the domestic season, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Moving forward, I aim to perform well and earn a place in the national red-ball team,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
