Pakistan all-rounder Shadab Khan: “There’s still room for improvement in my game”

Pakistan spin-bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan firmly believes there is “still room for improvement” when it comes to his skill set.
The 26-year-old, who is Pakistan’s T20I vice-captain, wants to get better so that he can have a greater impact with the bat and ball, and in the field as well.
“There’s still room for improvement in my game,” Shadab was quoted as saying by A Sports.
During the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), Shadab captained Islamabad United and took 14 wickets in 10 matches at an average of 16.57 and an economy rate of 7.90.
He also had a solid impact with the bat, amassing 173 runs at an average of 24.71 and a strike-rate of 155.85.
Following PSL 10, the Mianwali native took part in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and snapped up four wickets at an average of 16.25 and an economy rate of 7.22.
Additionally, he scored 55 runs at an average of 27.50 and a strike-rate of 157.14.
Shadab missed Pakistan’s tour of Bangladesh, which consisted of three T20Is, as he underwent surgery on his right shoulder.
Pakistan are now touring the West Indies for three T20Is and three ODIs.
The men in green won the T20I series 2-1.
The ODI series will begin on August 9 in Trinidad.
