Saud Shakeel: “I personally think Amir is currently one of the most technically strong fast bowlers in Pakistan”

Middle order batsman Saud Shakeel believes left-arm speedster Mohammad Amir is “one of the most technically strong fast bowlers in Pakistan”.
Amir has been in fantastic form lately as he has put his wicket-taking skills on full display.
This was especially evident during the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), where Shakeel played alongside the 33-year-old while captaining the Quetta Gladiators.
In nine games for the franchise, Amir took 13 wickets at an average of 18.07 and an economy rate of 7.79.
“I personally think Amir is currently one of the most technically strong fast bowlers in Pakistan,” Shakeel was quoted as saying by journalist Arfa Feroz Zake on X, formerly known as Twitter.
After PSL 10, Pakistan faced Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series and whitewashed them 3-0.
They didn’t have as much success during their tour of Bangladesh as they lost the T20I series 2-1.
Pakistan are now touring the West Indies for three T20Is and three ODIs.
They won the T20I series 2-1.
The ODI series will start on August 9 in Trinidad.
