Pakistan fast bowling legend Wasim Akram believes iconic batsman Younis Khan would be a “good option as a batting coach for red-ball cricket”.
He feels Younis can share his expertise with Pakistan’s Test batters, especially since he is the only player from the country to have scored 10,000 Test runs.
In addition to helping the current crop of cricketers, Wasim noted the 47-year-old can help “change the mindset of younger players”.
“Younis Khan can be a good option as a batting coach for red-ball cricket. A new coach can help change the mindset of younger players,” the Sultan of Swing was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
