Pakistan pace bowler Hasan Ali conceded that half his career is over and that he needs to start acting like a senior player.
Hasan has plenty of experience under his belt and acknowledged that it’s time he steps up and leads by example.
The 31-year-old has been doing just that as of late as during the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), he was the joint second-highest wicket-taker with 17 wickets in 10 matches for the Karachi Kings at an average of 20.47 and an economy rate of 9.03.
“Half of my career is over now. As a senior player, I need to act like one,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
After PSL 10, Hasan got the chance to play in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and didn’t disappoint as he snapped up eight wickets in three T20Is, which included a career-best five-wicket haul, at an average of 11.12 and an economy rate of 9.53.
The men in green won the series 3-0.
Pakistan will now embark on a tour of Bangladesh, which will consist of three T20Is that will be played in Mirpur from July 20 to 24.
