Pakistan batsman Fakhar Zaman: “My role has always been that of an aggressor”

Pakistan batsman Fakhar Zaman said he has always been an aggressive player as this has consistently been his role in the team.
Zaman is known for unleashing big shots and has a reputation of being a match-winner when he catches fire.
Recently, the 35-year-old was in action for the Lahore Qalandars in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and finished as the second-highest run-scorer with 439 runs in 13 matches, which included four fifties, at an average of 33.76 and a strike-rate of 152.96.
“My role has always been that of an aggressor,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
After PSL 10 ended, Zaman featured in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, but he didn’t have much of an impact as he only made one run in the one game he played.
Despite this, the men in green won the series 3-0.
Pakistan will now travel to Bangladesh for a three-match T20I series, which will be held from July 20 to 24 in Mirpur.
