Former Pakistan seamer Tanvir Ahmed questioned why Usman Khan keeps trying to hit every delivery, saying he cannot understand what the top order batsman is doing.
Usman has represented Pakistan in two ODIs and 19 T20Is to date and averages 25.50 and 14.93 respectively.
Recently, the 30-year-old was in action for the Multan Sultans in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and amassed 213 runs in eight matches, which included a top score of 61, at an average of 26.62 and a strike-rate of 147.91.
“I cannot understand what Usman Khan is doing, as he tries to hit every delivery,” Tanvir said on his YouTube channel as quoted by Samaa TV.
After PSL 10, Pakistan went up against Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series, but Usman was not selected in the team.
The men in green won the series 3-0.
