Pakistan ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan has praised spinner Sufiyan Muqeem, saying he has bowled “really well” as of late.
Muqeem has seen more opportunities come his way and is making the most of it by regularly taking wickets for the men in green.
During the five-match T20I series against New Zealand, he took two wickets in one game at an average of three and an economy rate of three.
The 25-year-old followed it up with three wickets in two ODIs at an average of 26.
Muqeem’s performances with the ball haven’t gone unnoticed and Rizwan urged him to keep it up.

After playing New Zealand, Muqeem featured in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and picked up one wicket in three games for the Peshawar Zalmi at an average of 107 and an economy rate of 9.72.
