Pakistan batsman Jahanzaib Sultan firmly has confidence in his skills, saying he can become “a good white-ball player”.

Sultan has shown potential in domestic cricket thus far as in the National T20 Cup, he scored 113 runs in four games for Karachi Region Blues, which included a career-best 79 not out, at an average of 37.66 and a strike-rate of 159.15.

Following this, he was in action for the Multan Sultans in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and made 25 runs in the one game he played.

Since he has an attacking approach when batting, the 23-year-old from Karachi feels he could excel in ODIs and T20Is.

“I can be a good white-ball player,” he told PakPassion.

Sultan has yet to play international cricket and was thus not part of Pakistan’s squad for the 2025 Champions Trophy and their limited overs tour of New Zealand.

Pakistan just finished facing Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series and completed a 3-0 whitewash.

Pakistan Squad for Bangladesh T20I Series: Salman Ali Agha (captain), Shadab Khan (vice-captain), Abbas Afridi, Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Talat, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Haris (wicketkeeper), Muhammad Irfan Khan, Naseem Shah, Sahibzada Farhan (wicketkeeper) and Saim Ayub
