Shahnawaz Dahani: “Sahibzada Farhan should not be allowed to play domestic [cricket], he is just destroying [the] careers of bowlers”

Pakistan fast bowler Shahnawaz Dahani has joked that big-hitting batsman Sahibzada Farhan should not be allowed to play domestic cricket as he is “destroying [the] careers of bowlers”.
Farhan has been unstoppable with the bat lately as he was the highest run-scorer in the National T20 Cup with 605 runs in seven matches for Peshawar Region, which included three centuries and two fifties, at an unbelievable average of 121 and a strike-rate of 189.65.
He then proceeded to score the most runs in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), accumulating 449 runs in 12 games for Islamabad United, which included a hundred and three half-centuries, at an average of 37.41 and a strike-rate of 152.20.
Considering how lethal the 29-year-old from Charsadda has been, Dahani quipped that he is just too good for the other domestic bowlers at the moment.
“Sahibzada Farhan should not be allowed to play domestic [cricket], he is just destroying [the] careers of bowlers,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.
After PSL 10, Farhan featured in Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh and smashed a career-best 74 off 41 balls in the 2nd T20I, which included four boundaries and six sixes.
Overall, he finished with 75 runs in two games at an average of 37.50 and a strike-rate of 166.66.
Pakistan ended up winning the series 3-0.
