Pakistan batsman Mohammad Haris has vowed that people will see a new version of him throughout 2025.
Haris has worked hard to earn his spot back in the national team as he performed well in domestic cricket to land back on the selectors’ radar.
Recently, the 24-year-old was involved in Pakistan’s five-match T20I series against New Zealand, but failed to have the kind of impact he would have wanted as he was limited to 65 runs at an average of 13 and a strike-rate of 118.18.
Knowing that he is being given a chance to cement his place in the team, the Peshawar native is eager to post big scores and prove he belongs at the international level.
“You will see a different Haris in 2025,” he was quoted as saying by Khel Shel on X, formerly known as Twitter.
After the New Zealand tour, Haris featured in the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) and accumulated 247 runs in 10 matches, which included a top score of 87, at an average of 27.44 and a strike-rate of 148.79.
With PSL 10 done and dusted, Haris will be in action once again when Pakistan take on Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series in Lahore from May 28 to June 1.
