
Pakistan batsman Mohammad Haris: “Over the last year, I have worked on improving my mistakes with the help of coaches and through my performances in domestic cricket”

Pakistan big-hitter Mohammad Haris has revealed that over the past year, he has been working on improving the mistakes he keeps making when batting.
Haris is back in the national team after being overlooked for a lengthy period of time due to his inconsistent performances.
Recently, he featured in Pakistan’s five-match T20I series against New Zealand and amassed 65 runs at an average of 13 and a strike-rate of 118.18.
Knowing that he has an opportunity to cement his place in the team, the 24-year-old from Peshawar is eager to make the most of it.
“Over the last year, I have worked on improving my mistakes with the help of coaches and through my performances in domestic cricket,” he was quoted as saying by A Sports.
In the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), Haris had a solid campaign as he scored 247 runs in 10 games for the Peshawar Zalmi, which included a top score of 87, at an average of 27.44 and a strike-rate of 148.79.
Next up for him will be Pakistan’s three-match T20I series against Bangladesh, which will be held in Lahore from May 28 to June 1.
