Pakistan batsman Ahmed Shehzad has put ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan in his crosshairs, saying he “only has a few shots” in his arsenal.
Shehzad noted that Rizwan will do one of two things when coming out to the crease – “either he will come out and hit, or he will premeditate and try to play the ball in a specific direction”.
Due to this, he pointed out that the 32-year-old has “many technical flaws in his batting”.
“Rizwan only has a few shots – either he will come out and hit, or he will premeditate and try to play the ball in a specific direction. There are many technical flaws in his batting, and they are visible repeatedly,” Shehzad was quoted as saying by TOK Sports on X, formerly known as Twitter.
During the 2025 Champions Trophy, Rizwan mustered 49 runs in two matches at an average of 24.50.

Rizwan’s next assignment will be the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL), where he will captain the Multan Sultans.
PSL 10 will be held from April 11 to May 18.
