Pakistan spin-bowling all-rounder Shadab Khan cannot wait for the 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) as he is determined to “come back stronger”.
Shadab captained Islamabad United in PSL 9 in 2024 and led them to the title.
The 26-year-old will no doubt be looking to repeat that feat in PSL 10, but he is also determined to showcase how much he has improved.
“I can’t wait for the PSL to start. This season, my is to come back stronger,” he was quoted as saying by Khel Shel on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Shadab missed the 2025 Champions Trophy, where Pakistan were eliminated in the group stage, but made his international comeback as Pakistan’s T20I vice-captain in their five-match series against New Zealand.
In the five games he played, the Mianwali native took one wicket at an average of 143.
He also scored 58 runs at an average of 14.50.
Pakistan lost the T20I series 4-1 and then proceeded to get whitewashed 3-0 in the ODIs that followed.
PSL 10 will get be held from April 11 to May 18.
