Pakistan pace bowler Haris Rauf said he has been bowling with speed in training and is feeling good.
Rauf recently suffered an injury scare as he was diagnosed with a muscular sprain in his chest after playing the opening game of the ODI tri-series against New Zealand.
The 31-year-old took one wicket in the match, but missed the rest of the series, which also included South Africa.
He recovered in quick time and subsequently returned for the 2025 Champions Trophy, where he claimed two wickets in two matches at an average of 67.50.
“I have bowled with speed in the training session,” Rauf told Telecom Asia Sport as quoted by NDTV.
Pakistan failed to make it past the group stage of the Champions Trophy as they lost to New Zealand and India.
Their final match against Bangladesh was abandoned due to rain.
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a tour of New Zealand, which will consist of five T20Is and three ODIs that will be played from March 16 to April 5.
