Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Azam Khan has revealed that his favourite cheat meal is “Sindhi biryani”.
Sindhi biryani is a renowned dish that originates from Sindh province in Pakistan. It usually consists of basmati rice, vegetable, spices and some type of meat – generally chicken or mutton.
Azam is known for his big-hitting talent and has showcased it on many occasions.
Recently, the 26-year-old was in action in the International League T20 (ILT20), where he amassed 83 runs in 10 matches for the Desert Vipers at an average of 10.37 and a strike-rate of 145.61.
“I would say I’ll have the Sindhi biryani,” he was quoted as saying in a video posted by journalist Farid Khan on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Azam was not picked for Pakistan’s recent ODI tri-series against New Zealand and South Africa.
He also failed to make the cut for the 2025 Champions Trophy, which will be held from February 19 to March 9.
