Saud Shakeel: “Our bowlers, like Sajid and others, have been exceptional. Even with the new ball, they’ve made it tough for the opposition”

Pakistan middle order batsman Saud Shakeel has lauded spinner Sajid Khan for making life tough for opposition batsmen.
Sajid has been one of Pakistan’s top performers in Test cricket, especially when they play at home.
In the recent two-Test series against the West Indies, the 31-year-old was absolutely deadly as he took 15 wickets, which included a five-wicket haul, at an average of 17.
Even though the series ended as a 1-1 draw, Shakeel still praised Sajid for his incredible contributions with the ball.
“Our bowlers, like Sajid and others, have been exceptional. Even with the new ball, they’ve made it tough for the opposition,” he was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan.
In the West Indies series, Shakeel amassed 131 runs, which included a top score of 84, at an average of 32.75.
He will now represent Pakistan in the ODI tri-series against New Zealand and South Africa before going on to play in the 2025 Champions Trophy, which will be held from February 19 to March 9.
