Ali has been dominating at the domestic level lately and will likely be one of the Zalmi’s key bowlers during PSL 10.

Recently, the 32-year-old played for the Stallions in the Champions T20 Cup and finished as the highest wicket-taker in the tournament with 22 wickets in nine matches at an incredible average of 9.72 and an economy rate of 6.20.

Akram pointed out that the Zalmi needed a speedster for PSL 10 and is fully aware of how well Ali has been doing.

“We do need a fast bowler and he’s been in terrific form in the past. We’ve been waiting for him,” he was quoted as saying by ESPNcricinfo.

The Pakistan team recently toured Australia and won the ODI series 2-1 before being pummelled 3-0 in the T20Is.
