Faisal Iqbal: “He loves bouncy pitches”

Former Pakistan batsman Faisal Iqbal said fast bowler Haris Rauf loves bowling on bouncy pitches as he gets lots of wickets.
Rauf has been in phenomenal form over the last couple of months and has arguably been Pakistan’s best limited overs bowler in that time.
During the tour of Australia, he took 10 wickets in three ODIs, which included a five-wicket haul, at an average of 12.
He followed that up with five wickets in three T20Is at an average of 15.40.
Rauf was then involved in Pakistan’s white-ball series against Zimbabwe and claimed three wickets in three ODIs at an average of 32.
In the T20Is, he finished with three wickets in two games at an average of 10.
Pakistan then went to South Africa, but the 31-year-old failed to take a single wicket in both the T20I and ODI series.
Nonetheless, Faisal has been highly impressed with what he has seen from Rauf.
“He loves bouncy pitches,” he said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Pakistan and the West Indies are now involved in a two-Test series, which the men in green lead 1-0 after securing a 127-run win in the 1st Test in Multan.
The 2nd Test began on January 25 in Multan.
