Pakistan seamer Hasan Ali has lauded fellow fast bowler Ali Raza for his “very impressive bowling” in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy.
Raza only played in two games for Sialkot Region, but had a major impact, taking 13 wickets at an average of 18.07.
The 16-year-old was fantastic in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final against Peshawar Region as he claimed 10 wickets in the match, including a career-best 7-48 in the 2nd innings.
His efforts with the ball helped Sialkot Region win the tournament as they defeated Peshawar Region by one wicket.
Considering the immense potential the teenager has shown, Hasan admitted that there is something special about Raza.
“Ali Raza…very impressive bowling!” he said on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The Pakistan team recently toured Australia and won the ODI series 2-1 before being thumped 3-0 in the T20Is.
They then went to Zimbabwe and triumphed 2-1 in both the ODI and T20I series.
Following this, the men in green travelled to South Africa and started off by losing the T20I series 2-0 before bouncing back to secure a 3-0 victory in the ODIs.
As for the two-Test series, Pakistan were whitewashed 2-0.
Pakistan’s next assignment will be a two-Test series against the West Indies, which will be held in Karachi and Multan from January 16 to 28.
