South Africa batsman Rassie van der Dussen has chosen Pakistan all-rounder Jahandad Khan as an “exciting talent” to watch out for.

Jahandad has started seeing more opportunities coming his way, indicating that the men in green have big plans for him in the future.

The 21-year-old recently featured in the limited overs series against Australia and scored five runs in one T20I, while also taking one wicket.

He saw more game time during the tour of Zimbabwe as he featured in all three T20Is, but only batted once, scoring six runs.

Bowling-wise, he picked up three wickets at an average of 24.

During Pakistan’s tour of South Africa, he played in one T20I and claimed two wickets at an average of 20.

Having shown plenty of promise, especially with the ball, Van der Dussen thinks the Rawalpindi native has a bright future ahead of him.

“Jahandad Khan was there as well, he is also an exciting talent,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Pakistan’s next assignment will be a two-Test series against the West Indies, which will be played in Karachi and Multan from January 16 to 28.
