Pakistan left-arm spinner Faisal Akram is hopeful of representing his country in Tests, ODIs and T20Is by the end of 2025.

Faisal is one of the brightest spin prospects in Pakistan and has played three ODIs to date.

All three of those ODIs came during Pakistan’s tour of Zimbabwe, where he took five wickets at an average of 16.

While he has yet to make his Test debut, the 21-year-old has gotten off to a great start in first-class cricket, claiming 20 wickets in three matches at an average of 22.

He is also waiting to play his first T20I, but Faisal has featured in 17 domestic T20s to date and picked up eight wickets at an average of 51.12.

Having shown great potential, especially in the ODI series against Zimbabwe, the talented youngster has his sights set on representing Pakistan in all three formats very soon.

“My dream is to represent Pakistan in all formats. Hopefully, you will see me playing for Pakistan in Tests, ODIs and T20Is by the end of 2025,” he was quoted as saying by PakPassion on X, formerly known as Twitter.

The men in green recently toured South Africa and lost the T20I series 2-0 before bouncing back to secure a 3-0 victory in the ODIs.
